Day 3: St. James–Hermanus-St. James Wednesday 29th of November 2017
Riders: (255 km)
Today we are going to Hermanus for a last chance to see some whales. The season is from July to December, so with some luck we still can spot some Southern Right Whales. On our way to Hermanus we stay on the N2 over Sir Lorys Pass and passing Grabouw. On our way back we go via Kleinmond, Betty’s Bay and Gordens Bay by driving on Clarens Drive along the False Bay.
Again you can join the bus which will follow the riders. Alternative if Hermanus is not your thing we offer a Winelands tour. We are going for a cellar tour of one of the estates. We continue with 1 or 2 wine tasting on the way. Along our route we also will visit Franschhoek – the French Corner and Stellenbosch the 2nd oldest town in South Africa and where the 1st University was established.
